James Bond 007: Nightfire is a refreshing middle ground, between the more standard shooter fare that the franchise became in time, and the foundation laid by GoldenEye 007 before it. That is, of course, if you stay away from the botched PC adaptation.

Although a few missions miss the mark, with a particular underwater one coming to mind, it's a very successful take on the superspy, with vast cinematic elements and fairly open mission structure; a blend that just works, be it shaken or stirred...
