Onimusha: Warlords is but one of many successful genre mixes that Capcom has experimented with. Using the foundations of survival horror, it tells an engaging feudal tale of demons and swords that should truly have the honor of a modern new entry.

While perhaps somewhat barebones in its mechanical complexity, its swordplay combat still manages to maintain its freshness from beginning to end, especially with the gleaming coat of paint from its recent remaster.
