Resident Evil: Revelations 2 is one badass extravaganza of the action craziness characteristic of the franchise in the era past the fifth entry, but before the seventh, yet with enough horror and lore to satisfy even the most alienated fans.

While the story co-op feature may not be for everyone, and the cliffhangers may never be picked back up, it offers a fairly compelling story that takes advantage of its episodic setting, and a particularly beefy multiplayer horde mode.
