This is a review of a game named The Stanley Parable. Its job was simple: to entertain its players with brilliant comedic timing, impeccable visual gags and clever writing. It thoroughly succeeded, as though it had been made exactly for this job.

At first, you'd think that'd be enough, but to paraphrase the game itself: I then praised the game for its insightful witty commentary into the nature of video game structure and its examination of structural narrative tropes. And I was happy.
