Velocity, and its HD remake Velocity Ultra, are a very successful mix of genres that's comprised of equal parts of a shoot 'em up, a puzzler and a speed game.

Although the visual style and plot framework of the game are fairly bland, the thrilling experience of the strive for getting every collectible as fast as possible on every mission drowns most of the gripes I could've had with the title.
